A Medieval Adventure

Hello Everyone,

On April 27th, Maggie's host dad, Pepe, took Maggie, his daughter Ines, Joseph, and I to see a medieval castle and church about an hour outside of Zaragoza. Pepe is an architect and especially likes old architecture which was clearly visible while touring the castle and church. The castle, Loarre Castle, is a landmark that is maintained by the government. Pepe knows the man who is sort of the director at the castle. When we arrived, we all sat down and had a coffee with the director before he gave us a tour and told us a bit of the history. After the tour, we moved on to a nearby medieval church. Although we weren't able to enter the church, it was still very beautiful and incredible to see from the outside. We later had a nice lunch in a local restaurant. Enjoy the pictures!

Until next time, Brian
